Ranen Rambrij

Ranen graduated in 2016 with a Masters Degree in Chiropractic from Durban University of Technology in South Africa. Following his qualification, he opened his practice within a mixed martial arts gym which grew his interest in combat sport. In 2017 Ranen completed his ICCSP (Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sport Practitioner) qualification. The need to grow and learn saw him leave South Africa in 2018 and pursue a career in Mauritius. This new experience saw him join an Orthopedic team which changed his focus from sport specific treatment and management to spinal and disc injuries, co-managing patients with other specialists in a multidisciplinary approach.

During his time in Mauritius Ranen was able to continue his work in sport, working as a consultant for the Mauritian Ministry of Youth Empowerment & Sport where he helped prepare the Mauritian power lifting team for the Indian Ocean Games in 2019. In 2019 he was elected vice president of the Mauritian Chiropractic Association, a position he held up until his departure in 2021. A long-term ambition to live and work in the UAE saw Ranen move to Dubai in 2021.

Over the last 2 years he has worked with professional athletes based in the UAE from the following sports: Rugby, Boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Body Building, Strongman/Strongwomen and MMA.

His philosophy in patient management is ‘the welfare of the patient comes first’. Using a combination of Chiropractic and Medical evidence-based treatment protocols he aims to eliminate his patients pain and return them back to activity in the shortest possible time while minimizing the risk of re-occurrence.
