Marcelo Vidal

Marcelo graduated in Physiotherapy in 2012 from Centro Universitario Metodista IPA, Brazil. Additionally in 2014 he completed a specialization course in Kinesiology by Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Marcelo is now one of the few Cuevas Medek Exercise (CME) certified Physiotherapists in the Middle East and Gulf region in which he was trained by the creator of the therapy technique. This technique is fundamental in the Physiotherapy treatment of Pediatric musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

In 2013 Marcelo set up his own specialist Pediatric Physiotherapy clinic in Brazil and was treating private Pediatric outpatients with a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. In 2018 Marcelo joined a Pediatric multidisciplinary team in Dubai at a Pediatric speciality clinic as a pioneer of Cuevas Medek Exercise (CME) therapy. He then joined Anatomy Rehab in August 2020 as a Specialist Pediatric Physiotherapist.

Marcelo is passionate about clinical research, and he has studied and lectured in pediatric rehabilitation at scientific conferences and workshops worldwide. He uses his knowledge to apply unique Pediatric therapy interventions based on Cuevas Medek Exercises therapy concept mixed with evidence-based parameters for neuroplastic regeneration focused on functional improvements and goals.

Marcelo treats children and babies with abnormal motor development due prematurity, pathological and genetic disorders and pathologies.
