Lucy is a sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapist from New Zealand

Lucy is a sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapist from New Zealand. Lucy has 9 years experience in private practice since graduating in 2013 she has pursued further study in sports physiotherapy, international development and has a keen interest in psychology. In 2015 she was part of a UN lead initiative to develop the first of its kind physiotherapy training program in Haiti and continues to remain up to date with leading research.

The underlying theme of her treatment style is education, whether it be her own or passing her knowledge on to her clients so they can stay doing what they love. Lucy combines rehabilitation, manual therapy and education to optimize her patients treatment outcomes and treats with a wholistic approach.

Outside of physiotherapy Lucy teaches salsa dancing meaning she not only lives and breathes movement but she also understands the frustration of injuries and the importance of staying active during the rehab process.

Over the course of her career she has worked with a range of high performance athletes and teams including professional rugby, baseball and basketball, giving her extensive experience in sports injuries. She has a keen interest in persistent pain including post concussion and low back pain.
