Kirsten Evans

Kirsten qualified with a Masters in Chiropractic from the Durban University of Technology, South Africa, in 2013. She has also completed training and work experience at the South African Sports Institute of South Africa in the area of Medical Bike Fitting. It was here that she gained much knowledge and experience from the current UAE Team Emirates sports Doctor, Jeroen Swart.

Having worked predominantly in sports clinics throughout her career, she has taken a keen interest in working with athletes especially runners, cyclists and triathletes. Correcting their biomechanics to enhance and optimize their performance. Kirsten has also worked with South African surf ski paddlers, canoeists, Olympic swimmers and sprinters as well as many long distance road and trail runners. She is also a keen endurance athlete herself, participating in many Ironman 70.3 races, multi stage mountain bike, canoeing and trail running races as well as a few marathons and one ultramarathon. Although Kirsten has a huge love of sport, her Masters specialized in the field of Paediatrics and she also has a passion working with kids and babies.

Classifying herself as a holistic, diversified Chiropractor, she uses many other forms of treatment and not just manipulation. This includes dry needling, of which she has 14 years experience and many movement based exercises. Kirsten loves challenging cases with foot and neck cases being her favourite.
